The NETKROM VoIP Gateway is a cost-effective and reliable way to place voice and fax calls over an IP network. Service providers and enterprises can both use the gateway to cut costs. The gateway is equipped with remote management capabilities, and ports are provided for analog trunks or analog telephones.
Service providers can deploy new services on existing IP networks, avoiding new capital expenditure and allowing enterprise customers to pay for new services as they need them rather than waiting for them to make major investments in new equipment at their sites.
Enterprises can use the gateway to connect corporate and branch offices so that voice and fax calls
travel over an existing wide area network (WAN) to avoid toll charges.
Enterprises can also use the gateway to receive calls on analog phone and fax equipment at branch
offices, even though calls are moving over an IP network.
